Best BeeBrothers
Best Bee Brothers makes carpenter bee traps in a category where the whole year happens in about four months. We run the Google Ads that carry that season, and we got a lot more out of every dollar in year two.

A four-month year.
Carpenter bees show up in spring and disappear by late summer, and demand goes with them. Miss March and April and most of the year is gone.
Best Bee Brothers had a great product and strong reviews. It needed Google Ads that could scale up the moment the season turned on, pull back the moment it ended, and earn more on every dollar each year instead of just spending more.

Year one: go get the season
In our first spring we pushed. March through June 2025 brought in $120,573 in Google Ads revenue, more than double the same months a year earlier, at a 5.7x return on ad spend.
Year two: same season, a quarter of the spend
Then we got efficient. From March to August 2026, Best Bee Brothers spent $6,562 on Google Ads, down from $23,857 the year before, and still drove 1,534 orders.
Cost per order fell from $11.94 to $4.28, and return on ad spend climbed from 5.3x to 14.2x. The playbook was simple: spend where the orders are, cut what doesn't pay back, and look at it every week.
Creative that sells the trap
We built square and vertical ad sets around what buyers actually trust: real five-star reviews, the product doing its job, and a clear shop-now button. The same set covers the traps and the repellent line.

Off-season discipline
When the bees leave, the spend does too. Winter months run close to zero to keep the account warm, and every month ends with a short report the owners can read in two minutes.

Most ecommerce brands don't need more ad spend. They need the spend they have pointed at the right products, in the right weeks, with someone watching it every week.
